About District 9215

A quick explanation of what is happening, why it matters, and what you should do.

Rotary District 9212 is being split into two new districts: 9215 and 9216. District 9215 becomes official on 1 July 2026.

What is happening

District 9212 is being reorganized into new districts. This is called redistricting. It helps bring leadership and support closer to clubs, so coordination and follow-ups become easier.

Kenya is split across two districts

Kenya will sit across District 9215 and District 9216. If your club is not sure which side it falls under, start with the DRRE email and you will be guided to the right team.

What it means for your club

Your club does not restart. It stays the same, but it will be assigned under District 9215. That affects which district calendar you follow, who supports you, and where district-level approvals are handled.

What is changing

You will see new district leadership structures and new planning cycles. District-level events will be organized under District 9215, and communication should move through role emails instead of personal inboxes.

What is NOT changing

Rotaract rules do not change overnight. Your club continues as normal and your projects keep going. The main change is the district umbrella and who supports you at district level.

What you should do now

Use the DRRE email for anything urgent or unclear. Confirm with your club leadership which district you fall under, then use the District 9215 role emails going forward.
